Work Environment

Based in vibrant Miami, Florida, our outpatient office allows you to work in a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere, focusing on personalized patient care. The office operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, which include reviewing medical histories and performing functional assessments.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient based on their diagnosis and progress.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, adjusting therapy strategies as necessary based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans clearly and accurately to comply with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and to adapt rehabilitation strategies.
• Oversee the transition of patients from therapy to discharge, providing follow-up care guidelines and ensuring seamless continuity of care.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices and integrate new methodologies as appropriate for patient care improvement.
• Participate in facility meetings, contributing to discussions on clinical protocols, patient care initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Engage in ongoing education and maintain certifications to uphold high standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Tough Mind, you will work specifically with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. Your role will involve focusing on rehabilitation strategies that promote strength, mobility, and function. You will be dedicated to understanding each patient's journey through their recovery, actively participating in their progress and celebrating their achievements.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic care, with a strong foundation in treatment protocols and patient management.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
