Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: 1 Year Minimum License: NM License Can Pend at Time of Submission Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: MUST WORK 2 OUT OF 3 OF THE HOLIDAY BUNDLES (Thanksgiving & the Day After, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD) No RQI Certifications 36 or 48 Hours Contracts Travelers Will Float and It Is an Expectation Floating to MS/Tele, PCU, and Lower Acuity Settings Med-Surg Floors; Float to ED Ratios Are 1:5 in ED COVID Vaccine: Optional Description: Travelers are required to float to meet facility needs. Expected floating includes other medical-surgical and telemetry settings, PCU, and lower acuity units. The facility operates above capacity. Patient ratios may vary between 1:5 and possibly 1:6 based on available resources. Two weekend shifts are required per four-week schedule, which may vary based on unit needs. Travelers may be required to work relief charge as needed. Travelers must be willing to start IVs and manage telemetry. Expectations regarding unit support include interdisciplinary services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. The hospital may experience a high volume of various patient diagnoses, including heart failure, trauma, and other acute conditions. Participation in all required modules and assessments, including EKG testing, is mandatory. Please note all newly signed contracts will reflect relief charge requirements.
