Surgical Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00.

The Surgical Tech provides support in the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and assisting the surgical team as needed. This position requires experience in various surgical procedures, particularly in orthopedics, neurosurgery, and trauma.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgeries, including preparation and management of instruments.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
• Prepare operating room for procedures and ensure necessary equipment is available.
• Support the surgical team in various capacities during operations.
• Follow protocols for patient safety and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical tech experience; 5 years preferred.
• California state license preferred; pending licenses accepted.
• BLS certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
