Event Coordinator Volunteer

Coated In Love is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing hope, help, and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness and others in need.

Each year, our signature outreach event, 3000 Acts of Kindness, brings this purpose to life. Individuals experiencing homelessness are personally invited to receive essential items and services, but more importantly, to experience dignity, compassion, and genuine human connection to be truly seen, known, and loved.

Event Coordinator Volunteer


We have an opportunity for you to serve as an Event Coordinator for our 3000 Acts of Kindness event. In this role, you will work closely with the Minneapolis Convention Center team and the 300 Acts of Kindness planning committee to ensure a successful event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating room layouts, creating signage,
• Managing details that contribute to an organized and seamless experience for our guests,
• Collaborate with various teams to address logistics,
• Communicate with event vendors,
• Help implement the event plan.

This position is perfect for individuals with prior event planning experience, strong organizational skills, a passion for community service, and the ability to work well under pressure. Join us in making a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness!

Hours per week: 3-8 to start, increased hours in November, all day December 12 – 14
