Supervisor: Housekeeping Manager / General Manager

The Housekeeper at Purity Spring Resort is responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness and readiness of all buildings, common areas, guest rooms and rental units are held to the highest standards. Duties include but are not limited to the cleaning of all buildings, common areas, guest rooms, and rental units and replenishing paper products and supplies.

Responsibilities Include:

• Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Daily/routine cleaning of all guest rooms and buildings, ensuring the quality established standard is met.
• Cleaning duties include but are not limited to cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers, washing windows, vacuuming, changing trash cans, washing walls, dusting services.
• Report any necessary repairs to the supervisor.
• Ensures that all chemicals are labeled appropriately.
• Maintain the organization of all supply areas.
• Check quantity of supplies and report low levels to the supervisor.
• Pass along any concerns or comments from guests to the supervisor.
• Respond to additional requests from management and/or supervisor.
• Reports to the housekeeping supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work outdoors during a variety of weather conditions.
• Reach/squat/bend/carry/push/pull/lift up 25 lbs. Occasionally may need to climb ladders.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Dependable and adheres to scheduled shifts.
• Problem solving skills, excellent communication, and customer service skills required with staff and guests.
• Strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain guest and employee confidentiality.
• Strong work ethic, commitment, and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
