Criminal Justice Planner & Reentry Coalition Executive Director

York County Department of Probation Services Responsibilities Maintaining current, up-to-date strategic plans for CJAB and YCRC and maintaining membership records. Aligning activities with strategic plan priorities. Engage with leadership to develop agendas for and keep records of Board Meetings Coordinate and support the work of committees and subcommittees Keep abreast of PA Commission on Crime & Delinquency’s minimum operating standards for advisory boards and reentry coalitions and ensure compliance of both Proactively support collaboration between government agencies and community-based organizations to meet CJAB/YCRC strategic priorities Collect & analyze operational data and complete bi-annual reports Write, manage or report on grants that fund CJAB/YCRC activities Coordinate annual retreats to present information and set strategic priorities Facilitate annual Reentry Summit Coordinate annual Reentry Simulations Author and amend bylaws as necessary Prepare presentations and speak to community stakeholders about CJAB/YCRC’s purpose and accomplishments. Create and distribute reports, bulletins, social media posts, website copy, and flyers as needed to inform stakeholders and/or the public about activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, public administration, planning or a related field Two years’ experience in strategic planning, working with public or nonprofit boards and committees, or related experience Proficiency in MS Office Suite software. Experience creating public-facing outreach materials preferred. Familiarity with basic website creation and maintenance a plus.
