Pastor Posting for Bouse Southern Baptist Church Bouse Southern Baptist Church (AZ) is seeking a part-time pastor. The pastor will need another source of income (retirement, remote work, working wife). Applicants must have a demonstrable Southern Baptist background regarding education and ministry history, must adhere to Baptist Faith and Message, and must be currently active in their Southern Baptist Church, association, and state convention. Applicants being seriously considered must authorize a full background check by the church. Applicants are asked to provide links to their resume, at least two recent messages, and three letters of references. References must include a pastor, a church member (if possible), a good friend, or others of the applicant’s choice. Bouse is a small desert town. The climate is hot and dry; many people wear shorts year-round. Bouse has increased church attendance from November through March as “snowbirds” spend the warmer winter in Bouse. Shopping is extremely limited. The larger communities of Parker and Quartzsite are within about 30 miles. Phoenix and Las Vegas are about three hours away, although in opposite directions. BSBC has approximately 25 members. The worship style is traditional. BSBC is offering a financial package of $21,000 per year. No benefits are available. Housing in the Bouse area may be a problem. The church has an RV hookup if the pastor chooses to live in a motor home or travel trailer. The application window will close Jule 30, 2026, or when a suitable candidate is found.
