Planning Intern – Summer 2026
Location: Mount Olive, NJ
Department: Planning
Duration: Summer Internship (June–September, flexible based on academic schedule)
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

About the Internship
An industry-leading global manufacturer is seeking a motivated Planning Intern to support Supply Chain and Production Planning activities. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Planning Intern, you will help ensure materials and finished goods are available to meet customer demand while supporting efficient production schedules and inventory management processes.

This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing careers in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields .

Responsibilities

• Support planning activities to maintain inventory levels and meet customer requirements.
• Assist with planning reports, supply trackers, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Control, and Raw Material teams to support supply availability and production schedules.
• Monitor inventory and planning data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve planning processes and operational efficiency.
• Assist with forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain planning projects.

Qualifications
Education

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Pivot Tables, reporting, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
