Music Organizations Student Proofreader (WS-ST2)

Assists the Music Organizations staff with program creation and miscellaneous proofreading.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Format printed programs for on-campus ensemble concerts
• Format and maintain ensemble rosters
• Proofread programs for on-campus and off-campus ensemble concerts
• Communicate with Music Organizations staff and faculty to confirm program information
• Type and prepare choral texts for choir programs
• Maintain archives of concert programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Exceptional grammatical, proofreading, and editing skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Google Docs
• Ability to stay focused and productive in a high-traffic work environment
• Capacity to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well on team projects
• Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
• Ability to remain positive and flexible under stress
• Ability to read music
