Position : Accounts Payable Specialist
Location : Covington
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay : $23.00/hr

Job Summary
**
We are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in the manufacturing industry. This in-person role reports to the Controller and handles invoice processing, payment runs, and AP records.
**
Responsibilities
Review, code, and process vendor invoices; match to POs and receiving documents
Run weekly and monthly check and electronic payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with purchasing, receiving, and operations
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain AP files
Support month-end close and audit requests

Must Haves
High school diploma or GED
1+ years of AP, accounting, or related financial experience
Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Skills
AP experience in a manufacturing environment
Month-end close experience
