This role involves monitoring job performance, resolving failures, supporting automation initiatives, business-critical workflows and provides advanced troubleshooting. The incumbent must collaborate with IT teams, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement. This role is essential for ensuring that batch processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organization’s operations. This role reports into the Manager – IT Production Control. The position requires strong scripting capabilities and familiarity with modern reporting and monitoring tools to deliver actionable insights and maintain operational excellence.Responsibilities:Schedules, executes, and monitors batch jobs using Control-M, UC4, and Autosys.Ensures nightly completion of critical batch jobs and meets performance metrics.Maintains consistency across development, testing, and production environments.Monitors system health and job performance; generate status and performance reports.Develops workflows to meet business needs and integrate with applications (e.g., SAP, ERP).Executes SAP transports and automates tasks using scripting (bash, batch).Implements changes related to report distribution software.Provides advanced technical assistance to application and operations teams.Identifies root causes of failures and implements permanent corrective actions.Trains users and supports scheduling tools functionalities.Maintains compliance documentation and supports audits.Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, PowerShell, and Ansible.Participates in disaster recovery exercises and incident/change/problem management.Generate operational and performance dashboards using Kibana, Power BI, ServiceNow and Elastic.
