Network Wireless Engineer

Network Wireless Engineer
Location: Down State, New York, NY
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands on experience with enterprise WLAN technologies (Cisco, Aruba).
- Must have: Strong experience with Aruba ClearPass for 802.1X, RADIUS, profiling and role-based access.
Deep understanding of:
- RF fundamentals (channel planning, power, interference mitigation)
- 802.11 standards including Wi Fi 5/6/6E/7
- WLAN authentication (EAP methods, RADIUS, role based access)
- Enterprise controllers, cloud managed Wi Fi platforms and policy engines
- Proficiency with wireless survey tools (Ekahau, Hamina etc.)
- Experience with Cradlepoint, or similar 5G cellular enabled networking platforms
- Experience supporting large scale Wi Fi environments in complex organizations.
- Ability to interpret network analytics, performance data and incident trends.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
