Collaborating with cross functional partners such as engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, human resources and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organization Leading and providing direction of Plant Engineering supervisors, and other direct reports to drive continuous improvement in plant performance and productivity. Implementing strategic direction on all facilities and maintenance activities for the Nevada plant. Determining capital requirements necessary for the plant to maintain it's ability to meet customer requirements. Supporting, managing and leading the maintenance team to meet overall plant and business objectives. Promoting 3M's Plant Engineering Human Capital Strategies that deliver operational goals for recruiting, development, retention and ultimately the technical capabilities of our workforce. Your Skills And Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and Six (6) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR Associate's degree in an Industrial Maintenance-related technical field and Eight (8) years of plant maintenance and/or manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment AND Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Microsoft Office Travel: May include up to 5% domestic Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Locations: Nevada, MO Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
