Phlebotomist

Overview Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Irondale, AL 35210. This is a 3+ month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location Irondale, AL 35210 Duration 3+ months + Contract (possibilities of extension) Shift Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm CST; Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm CST Pay Rate $19.50 – $21.00 /hr on W‑2; rate based on experience and educational qualifications Responsibilities Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups. Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate source. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Pediatrics phlebotomy experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
