Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and directing nursing staff activities while coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in providing care. This position involves developing care plans, implementing strategies to promote health, and evaluating patient outcomes.

Essential Functions

• Collect relevant data pertaining to patient health or situations.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop and implement care plans to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery while ensuring a safe and healing environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in care delivery.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients and family members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately among healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor is required.

Organizational Requirements
