Description

The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range for this role is $26-$40/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collects and evaluates pertinent data related to the diagnostic sonographic procedure to determine its relevance to the examination.
• Effectively communicates and educates the patient on the ordered procedure responding to patient's questions or concerns.
• Implements the most appropriate protocol, seeks to optimize patient safety and comfort, diagnostic quality, and efficient use of resources, while achieving the diagnostic objective of the examination.
• Analyzes sonographic findings throughout the course of the examination so that a comprehensive examination is completed, and sufficient data is provided to the supervising physician to direct patient management and render a final interpretation.

Experience/Education: Must be registered or registry – eligible, preferably with OB/GYN experience; must maintain 30 CME's every 3 years for continuing education.
