Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. The clinician will prepare the operating room, sterilize and set up instruments and equipment, and provide direct support to the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient workflow.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a surgical environment.
• Experience with orthopedics preferred, including CST spine and Mako knee and hip systems (preferred).
• Ability to work variable shift start times between 0600–0800 as needed and potential on-call participation as required by the client.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CST credentials or equivalent advanced surgical technologist certification.
• Prior experience in high-volume operating rooms or specialty services such as orthopedics.
• Familiarity with sterile processing protocols and operating room instrumentation management.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include variable start times between 0600–0800 with typical coverage up to 1600.
• Possible on-call requirements.
• Orthopedic-focused cases, including spine and Mako knee and hip experience desired.
