Associate Quality Engineer

JOB SUMMARY: This position provides Engineering support within the Quality team. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Quality Problem Solving: Containment of WIP and Stock, root cause of investigation, processing of defective product. Defect verification, DMR initiation and review. Communication with department supervisors about escapes. Floor Support Team II QA Member: Support team with work on quality, scrap, cost reduction and improvement projects. Daily QA support for manufacturing area. MRB Level II Management: Review and disposition of MRB product. Data Analyst: Monthly update of Metrics Board, monthly reporting on customer claims and returns. General requests for data pertaining to product quality (as needed). Report on QA action for team meetings. Source Inspection (Back Up): Mechanical inspection for FAIs. PWA delegated quality rep. Audits: Daily floor audits, ISO internal audit support. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Quality Assurance and/or Business Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Powerpoint/Word/Excel).
