Japanese Accounting Assistant Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $22.00 to $24.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, journal entries, payroll, and accounting data using Sage software.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, wire transfers, invoices, and customer payments.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, credit cards, and ledger reviews.
- Prepare financial reports, audit documentation, and budget summaries.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve payment inquiries and billing discrepancies.
Japanese Accounting Assistant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent accounting experience will be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or financial recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with accounting software, preferably Sage Accounting, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Bilingual Japanese and English communication skills required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform reconciliations, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment screening, including background check and drug test.
