We are currently hiring Shipping and Receiving

Pay Rate: $17-$18

Schedule (Days and Time): 1st 7:30am-4pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Reads purchase orders or bill of lading or follows oral instructions to prepare orders to be shipped.

Receive materials, check with the purchase order, inspect any damage and report damages to Shipping Manager for incorporating in bill of lading for claims of damages.

For receiving of bulk materials and other designated materials, get sample and provide samples to lab before receiving or unloading materials.

Places material identification code on containers and get the same approved by Shipping Manager before putting containers in the designated place.

Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.

Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Conveys materials from storage or plant to designated area.

Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled as required.

Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.

Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.

Job Requirements

Minimum 12 months experience in assembly

Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.

Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
