Shipping/Receiving Associate - Atlanta Service Center

Shipping Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Associate to join our team in Norcross, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, processed, and shipped, while also maintaining precise organization and storage of incoming inventory.
Objectives
To ensure customer orders are pulled and shipped accuratelyTo ensure incoming product is located accurately
Principal Duties
Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by supervisor Count items to ensure that the correct number have been received Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouse Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activities Look through delivery to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions provided- (ie) Labels Operate forklifts /OP to pick heavy boxes and transport them to checking areas Verify the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery pallet Assist in loading and unloading trucks in a safe manner Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policies Handle returns (RMA) Ascertain that all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly labeled and that correlating documents are available with each shipment Select the method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates Arrange for a carrier vehicle or pickup Compare the amount and identification numbers of goods against orders Post weight and shipment charges Route products to departments Attach labels for pallet shipmentInspect Forklift Daily and fill out Inspection FormProcess all Deliveries with HUPASTLocated at:1859 Beaver Ridge Circle, Suite I, Norcross (USA) 30071 SFS Group USA, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer
