Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Enjoy a four-day work week with a fun and motivating dental team in Baton Rouge. Work with Dr. Gonzalez, who is helpful, kind, and patient-focused. Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:35am-4:00pm; long weekends!

This is where patients come first, and continuous learning is encouraged! Hard-working and motivated, the successful candidate will bring a passion for providing the best patient care to the communities they serve.

About This Office

Our office is growing, and we are looking for an energetic and positive Expanded Dental Assistant/Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team. Our beautiful and modern general dentistry practice is located near the intersection of Jefferson Highway and Bluebonnet Boulevard. Our office is equipped with technology such as digital x-rays, digital charts, and the iTero 3D scanner. We offer work-life balance, growth and learning opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package to our employees. Everyone who works in the office is a valuable part of our team. No weekends are required for this position. We would love the opportunity to chat with you more about this position!

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
  • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
Preferred Experience
  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental assisting school certification
