About the Position

Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 6 months of neuro experience required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience with the NIH scale and be proficient in caring for neurology diagnoses. Description: Candidates must have at least 6 months of neuro experience. The position will float between units as needed. Weekends are required every other weekend. The expected patient ratio is 1:5. This is a neurology unit, so it is crucial for the nurses to be experienced in relevant skills. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with charting in Epic is required. Interdisciplinary support and interpretation services are available within the unit. The unit is designated for stroke care and is thrombectomy capable. Patient diagnoses include various neuroscience-related conditions. This position may involve floating to nearby facilities as required. References are required from candidates covering recent work experience.
