Candidates must be willing to float between units if overstaffed. Candidates must commit to working weekends, every other weekend. Candidates must request all time off and specific scheduling requests upfront during submission. Candidates must work 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. The role involves caring for patients with cardiac conditions. Experience with cardiac drips is a hard requirement for this position. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in managing and titrating various drips. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients and ensuring their comfort and safety. A primary focus will be on providing high-quality patient care. Compliance with hospital policies and procedures is mandatory. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including various specialized teams. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The nurse will report to the charge nurse and collaborate with the healthcare team. Flexibility and adaptability are essential due to the dynamic nature of the unit. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5. Regular attendance and punctuality are crucial to maintaining team effectiveness. The role may require knowledge and ability to navigate electronic health record systems. Skills in telemetry monitoring will be advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. The nursing staff will work collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
