Speech Language Pathologist – Outpatient Speech Therapy Location: Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange, Orange, CA Job Schedule: Full Time, 8-hour day shifts. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care services in all assigned areas that includes evaluation, assessment, treatment planning based on the functional needs of the patients, program development, evaluation of the response to care, and readjustment of the treatment plan as required. Plans and provides patient, family, peer education and coordinates services with other health care professionals including interaction with physicians responsible for the care of the patient. Follows an individualized performance development plan to maintain current knowledge and be competent in critical areas and support program components. Promote hospital goals and objectives while modeling philosophy and values. Required Qualifications Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited program in Communicative Disorders or comparable education (must be ASHA approved). California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year experience as a practicing therapist. Preferred Qualifications ASHA membership upon hire. Compensation Pay range: $48.79 - $75.74 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
