Senior Corporate Accountant

Kforce's client, one of the best companies to work for on Long Island, NY, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will:
- Prepare journal entries (including monthly accruals, analysis of general ledger and documentation)
- Cost allocation analysis
- Prepare audit schedules and coordination with independent auditors
- Coordinate with banks, legal counsel, limited partners on a regular basis
- Compare accounting records against budget and forecasts
- Manage/create entities in Yardi accounting system
- Setup new bank accounts and review of treasury process
- Approve/code invoices
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of related corporate accounting or public accounting experience (Yardi experience is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
- Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills, with a focus on detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to maintain strong working relationships with coworkers and third parties
