About This Role The New Grad RN Resident in the Observation Unit at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital provides comprehensive nursing care to adults with various diagnoses. This role is ideal for recent nursing graduates seeking to build their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. Highlights Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour Location: Warrensville Hts, OH Facility: South Pointe Hospital Department/Unit: Observation Unit Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs. Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preference, and resources. Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions. Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document in patients’ medical records. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program) required. Experience: New grad or less than one year RN work experience required. If experienced, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required.
