Job Information Job Location: Princeton, NJ 08540 (Legal Address) Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Job Shift: Day Job Title: Grant Manager Department: Development Reports To: Chief Advancement Officer FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Location: On-site Employment Type: Full-time About the Role As our Grants Manager, you will play a key role in helping YWCA Princeton develop and implement a comprehensive corporate, government, and foundation grant fundraising pipeline that advances the impact of our mission. What You Will Do Writing and Managing (55%) Develop and write high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports Gather and prepare all materials to accompany grant submissions (e.g., financials, etc.) Comply with grantor reporting requirements Researching (15%) Conduct corporate, government, and foundation research to identify and assess funding opportunities Stay up-to-date on changes in funding policies and guidelines Track and manage deadlines for submissions and follow-ups Collaborating (20%) Collaborate with program and finance teams to develop accurate budgets and narratives Develop and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders Organizational learning and development (10%) Engage in organization-wide training, attend weekly team meetings, participate in all-staff meetings and institution-wide retreats, and develop both professional and personal commitments related to the YWCA‑Princeton mission Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in English, communications, non‑profit management, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit grant writing Proven track record of securing grants from a variety of funding sources Write and edit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting materials Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proactive attitude and exceptional organizational abilities Manage grant calendars, submission deadlines, and documentation Ensure compliance with funder guidelines and application protocols Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred (not required): Familiarity with early childhood education, English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, health and wellness, economic empowerment, and racial and gender equity advocacy Experience with CRM software systems Who You Are We Lead With Purpose We Center Equity and Belonging We Communicate With Openness and Trust We Grow Together We Collaborate Across Teams We Care For Ourselves and Each Other What You Can Expect Work Environment & Accessibility: Work is performed in-office 4 days with 1 remote day This role may require sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., etc. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities.
