About the Position

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Duration: 9 Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years or more experience with trauma and stroke experience required License: Current State/District license required Certifications: BLS required, AART required Must-Have: Associate's Degree or equivalent; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required Description: Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors. Position the body correctly for imaging procedures. Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data. Consistently produce high-quality radiographs. Reduce unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self. Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and supplies. Manage contrast reactions and codes as necessary. Schedule and complete exams accurately. Enter correct charge codes for all procedures.
