Safety Specialist

HazTek is seeking experienced Safety Specialists near Charlotte, NC to support our growing commercial construction projects. If you're passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting daily safety meetings, completing accident reports and conducting accident investigations, ensuring all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE), performing daily safety audits and inspections, and inspecting power tools and heavy equipment.

Qualifications include a minimum of 5+ years of direct construction safety experience required, active OSHA 30 in Construction required, active OSHA 510 and or OSHA 500 is highly preferred, active BCSP certification is a plus, first aid/CPR certified, strong knowledge of construction safety standards, working knowledge of data centers, mission critical builds, and or pharmaceutical safety protocols, experience in fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation, and excellent verbal and written skills. Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000
