Cambodian (Khmer) Transcription Specialist

ProSidian seeks a Cambodian (Khmer) Transcription Specialist for Program Support on a contract basis located in the Mid Atlantic region supporting the City of Charlottes mission of ensuring the delivery of quality public services and promoting the safety, health, and quality of life of its citizens with Translation, Transcription, and Interpretation services.

Seeking Cambodian (Khmer) Transcription Specialist candidates with relevant Government and Public Services sector experience to support professional services engagement for Government and Public Services sector clients such as CLT. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Transcription Services functional area position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.

Job Overview

Provide services and support as a Transcription Services (Cambodian (Khmer) Transcription Specialist) in the Government and Public Services industry sector focusing on business process solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte, NC (CLT) | City of Charlotte Procurement Department generally located in CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic region (of country/world).

Responsibilities and Duties

• Transcribe spoken Khmer content into written form. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and format adherence.

Qualifications

Desired qualifications for Cambodian (Khmer) Transcription Specialist candidates:

• Fluency in Khmer and English, fast and accurate typing skills.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• 2+ years of transcription experience. Certification preferred.

Skills Required

• Excellent listening and comprehension skills.

Competencies Required

• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.

Ancillary Details of the Roles

• Knowledge of transcription software is an advantage.

Other Details

• Experience in legal and government transcription is beneficial.
