• Shift: Mon/Tues 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (on-site with night call); Weekends with rounding and on-call duties
• Hours/week: 40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• Licensure/Certs: BC in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or General Psychiatry (+ CAP fellowship) required
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in adolescent psychiatry, strong background in diagnosis and treatment of youth mental health

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $273.00/hr
• Weekly pay via direct deposit

What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized psychiatric care to adolescents, managing a caseload of 6-12 patients daily
• Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology and psychotherapy
• Manage medication regimens and monitor treatment progress
• Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and supervision as needed
• Handle weekend rounding and on-call duties, including admissions during night shifts
• Maintain strong communication with patients' families and team members, respecting diverse backgrounds
• Ensure compliance with legal, educational, and safeguarding protocols relevant to adolescent care

What You Need:
Required:

• BC in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry OR BC in General Psychiatry with a completed CAP fellowship
• Valid California medical license or eligibility to practice in CA
• Experience managing adolescent patients and their families
• Strong knowledge of adolescent development, family systems, and legal frameworks

Preferred:

• Experience with complex cases, including spectrum disorders and co-morbid conditions
• Leadership skills in team management and patient care supervision
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
