Medical Receptionist Allied Physicians Nassau Pediatric Associates Located in Franklin Square, New York 11010 The Medical Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the medical practice. This dual-role position combines clinical support tasks with front-office administrative duties. The individual in this role provides both direct patient care and performs a range of office functions to ensure efficient patient flow, and an overall positive patient experience. Full-Time Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Compensation: $20/ph Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients while providing excellent customer service Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration Answer phones, process messages, and assist with general office communication Verify insurance, collect copays, and maintain accurate patient information Support referrals, forms, scanning, and front desk administrative tasks Assist patients and families with questions regarding office processes and appointments Adapt quickly to different office workflows and team environments Maintain professionalism, organization, and attention to detail in fast-paced settings What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Medical Assistant is a plus At least one year of experience in medical office; pediatrics experience highly preferred. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; experience with AthenaOne is a bonus. Compensation Range: $20ph-$22ph The compensation range listed represents Allied Physicians Group's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this position at the time of posting. The specific compensation offered will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
