Travel Registered Nurse, Neurology - $2,555 per week

Job Overview American Traveler is seeking a travel RN Neurology for a 13‑week assignment in Albany, New York, starting June 28, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour nighttime shifts (19:00–07:30). Responsibilities Provide neuro‑progressive care to patients in an acute hospital setting. Work 3 direct 12‑hour night shifts per week. Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR. Qualifications Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration. Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Neuro Progressive Care or a related specialty. Current BLS certification issued by AHA or RQI. Epic EMR experience required; candidates without Epic experience will not be considered. U.S. Social Security number required. No gaps of 90 days or more in work history within the past 12 months. Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted. Additional Requirements Candidates must reside outside a 50‑mile radius of Albany and must not reside in the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington. No blocked scheduling permitted. More than 3 call‑outs in a 13‑week contract period may result in contract termination; make‑up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call‑out. Any requested time‑off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. Travel pairs are not permitted for this position.
