Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in patient and family education.

Shift Information

The position includes a rotating schedule with night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend work is required as part of the rotation.

Job Requirements

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred

• Experience: One year of experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
• Patient Ratios: Expected nursing ratios of 1:5.

• Position may float between units as needed.
• No on-call duty required.
• Charting software: Epic.
• No parking fees for staff.
