Clinical Nursing Instructor

Clinical Nursing Instructor (C98725) Salary Range: $1,200 - $7,200 Employment Type Temporary position paid bi‑weekly on an hourly basis. No benefits. Responsibilities Supervise a clinical group in the hospital, assist with grading journals and skills check‑offs, and provide feedback to students to improve their clinical practice. 90% of the time instructing students in clinical settings. 10% of the time reviewing student reflections and journals. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Understanding of the nursing process. Ability to direct students in the application of theoretical concepts to the clinical environment. Oversee medication administration and incorporate the five rights of medication administration. Manage multiple priorities in the clinical environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Minimum two years of nursing experience. Agrees to participate in the Clinical Instructor Program within the next year or is currently working toward a master's degree in nursing. Preferred Qualifications Five or more years of nursing experience. Prior experience teaching nursing students.
