Warehouse AssociateJob Title: Warehouse AssociateEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Goldsboro, NCPay: $14 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pmJob Summary: The Warehouse Sorter/Floater is responsible for sorting, organizing, and processing incoming and outgoing products while providing support across multiple warehouse departments as needed. This position requires flexibility to perform a variety of warehouse functions, including sorting, packaging, shipping, receiving, inventory support, and material handling. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Sort incoming products and materials according to company procedures and customer specifications.Inspect products for damage, defects, or quality concerns.Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (when certified).Move materials throughout the warehouse to support production and shipping operations.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity goals.Basic math and reading skills to accurately complete work orders and shipping documents.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Preferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.Experience sorting, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving products.Core Competencies: Warehouse Operations, Product Sorting & Classification, Material Handling, Shipping & Receiving, Order Picking & Packing, Inventory Control, Making Pallets, Moving Boxes
