Charge Entry Specialist

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Charge Entry Specialist will be responsible for posting all office and hospital charges to patient accounts while ensuring accuracy and completeness, utilizing knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding. Key responsibilities: Independently manage charge entry tasks and assist co-workers to achieve office goals Run daily audit reports and make necessary corrections to ensure accurate charge postings Interact with physicians and interdepartmental staff to verify and resolve charge-related issues Required qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience At least 1 year of coding, billing, and/or charge entry experience in the healthcare field Experience working in a medical office Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding Ability to work full-time with flexibility to cover various 8-hour shifts during business hours
