Overview A well-known, top-rated physician-owned private practice is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate gastroenterologist to join its well-established team of two physicians and two advanced practice providers in Lake City, FL. This 90% outpatient opportunity offers an exceptional work-life balance and high-income earning potential. This group has grown into one of the largest single-specialty, physician-owned GI practices in Florida. Committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality gastroenterology services, they foster advanced research in digestive health. Position Highlights Opportunity for a General Gastroenterologist Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies (EGDs), and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures at the hospital and surgery center. 1:3 internal call schedule on weekends, covering GI practice hospital patients and ER calls Optional partnership track available after one year, with flexible buy-in opportunities for both the endoscopy center and FDHS Competitive compensation with multiple revenue streams Independently owned endoscopy centers with ancillary services, including infusion centers, pathology, anesthesia, and research Comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive salary with an incentive bonus structure Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off, including holidays, and CME allowance Professional liability insurance coverage About Lake City, Florida Lake City blends small-town charm with natural beauty, making it an ideal place to live and work.
