Job Details Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of project accounting including set up, budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control. Prepare and analyze monthly Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and project financial reports in compliance with GAAP. Oversee billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and monitor project revenue and costs. Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities to improve project profitability and cash flow. Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and recommendations. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Utilize Deltek Ajera or equivalent project management software to track project costs and generate financial reports. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other external reporting requirements. Participate in the continuous improvement of project accounting processes and systems. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction or engineering industry. Strong knowledge of GAAP, project costing, and financial reporting. Proficient in Deltek Ajera or equivalent project management software. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Excellent financial analysis and forecasting skills. Strong understanding of internal controls. Ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate analysis. Strong commitment to professional and ethical standards. CPA certification is a plus.
