About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - Must have 18 months of recent Step Down experience. Travel experience will suffice. - Must have ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate completed during orientation with acceptable scores. - Must work at least every other holiday. Description: This position is for a step-down nursing role. A combined 18 months of experience in the specialty is required. Travel experience may be accepted. The role includes working rotating shifts for days and nights. Shifts may be variable as necessary to meet operational needs. Candidates must possess an active Ohio or compact state license. All required certifications must be current and in hand at the time of application. An acceptable score on assessments during orientation is mandatory. Candidates will have two attempts to pass assessments during orientation. A negative 10-panel drug screen is required within 12 months of the start date. Compliance with nicotine-free requirements is needed for certain candidates. Extensions to assignments are permitted under specified conditions. Candidates must complete required background checks timely. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return for one year from their previous end date.
