About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 3x12-Hour / Night - 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months of combined permanent experience in specialty required License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 18 months of recent Step Down experience, travel experience acceptable - ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment to be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both required - Traveler must work at least every other holiday Description: Registered Nurse position in a Step Down unit. Potential to float to multiple units to care for the same patient population. Rotating shifts will be 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs of the facility. Recent experience in Step Down or Progressive Care unit preferred. Must have active certifications with nothing pending. References required from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for. Candidates must not have any open legal issues related to background checks. Travelers must be nicotine-free with required drug testing within 12 months of start. Permanent and per diem candidates are ineligible to return for one year from end date.
