Accounting Manager

Our client is a rapidly scaling healthcare company headquartered Nashville. As they expand into new markets, they are adding an Accounting Manager to anchor their growing finance team. This is a high-impact, visible role that will own the month-end close, build out scalable accounting processes, and partner directly with senior operational leadership. Key responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accuracy and speed Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting, and general ledger integrity Manage and mentor a team of 2–4 staff and senior accountants Own revenue recognition and healthcare-specific billing reconciliations Coordinate external audits and tax preparation with outside advisors Design and enforce internal controls and accounting policies Partner with FP&A to support budgeting and financial forecasting Evaluate and implement accounting system improvements What our client is looking for 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred Healthcare industry experience a significant plus Proficiency in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or comparable ERP systems Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience with revenue cycle or medical billing accounting preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
