Fiber Capacity Delivery Lead West, Global Network Solutions

Lead and mentor a global team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) specialized in delivery of dark fiber and leased capacity from third-party network providers.Develop and implement standardized processes, tools, and best practices for efficient, scalable, and on-time fiber deployment worldwide.Oversee a portfolio of complex, hyperscale fiber deployment programs, encompassing long-haul dark fiber, metro fiber, and leased capacity solutions.Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including network engineers, carriers, vendors, and internal Google teams.Cultivate a high-performing and team environment, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in program management.5 years of experience in leadership role with direct reports.Experience with fiber optic network design, deployment, and operations.Preferred qualifications:8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.Experience working with global carriers and vendors in the telecommunications industry.Experience with network automation and orchestration technologies.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the unique engineering challenges we face daily.
