Finance Manager - Private Markets

Company Overview A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking to hire a Finance Manager for their Private Markets Group. This role will support the accounting, operational, tax, and strategic activities associated with the firm's coinvest partnerships. Job Responsibilities Lead the accounting, operational, and financial oversight of various coinvest partnerships Manage operational and administrative activities including cash management, capital calls, distributions, custody processes, reconciliations, compliance reporting, and valuation reporting Evaluate and analyze complex investment transactions, partnership allocations, and accounting conclusions Serve as a key point of coordination across internal teams Support investor-facing activities including onboarding, policy administration, and reporting Identify opportunities to enhance processes and increase operational efficiency through technology and AI tools Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic initiatives and special projects Mentor and develop junior team members Oversee partnership reporting deliverables and coordinate with tax advisors on annual tax reporting Qualifications 6-8 years of accounting experience in financial services with exposure to investment partnerships, private equity, asset management, hedge funds, or alternative investments Background in public accounting, asset management audit, tax, or partnership accounting preferred Strong understanding of partnership structures, allocations, and investment operations Advanced Excel skills required Familiarity with AI tools and technologies and a willingness to adopt emerging AI solutions Compensation Salary: $130,000 – $150,000, Plus Bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr Landing Point
