Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting Consultant to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team supporting a pharmaceutical client. The consultant will be responsible for ongoing support maintenance configuration troubleshooting and continuous improvement of SAP Group Reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in financial consolidation month-end and year-end closing intercompany eliminations and integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance. Experience supporting global multi-entity consolidation environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day AMS support for SAP Group Reporting including incident management problem resolution and change requests in accordance with SLA commitments.

• Configure and maintain Group Reporting objects including consolidation units versions reporting hierarchies elimination rules and currency translation methods.

• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities to ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.

• Collaborate with Finance IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP system solutions.

• Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.

• Support integration between SAP Group Reporting SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal and other feeder systems.

• Support intercompany reconciliation consolidation elimination and financial reporting processes.

• Participate in SAP Group Reporting upgrades patches enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Prepare and execute unit tests and regression tests and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Maintain functional documentation configuration guides test scripts SOPs and knowledge articles.

• Support financial reporting dashboards and SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) where applicable.

• Use SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM for application monitoring and support activities.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the AMS team.

• Stay informed about SAP product updates and evolving financial consolidation and reporting capabilities.

Required Technical and Functional Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance for Group Reporting.

• Experience configuring and supporting consolidation units versions hierarchies elimination rules and currency translation.

• Strong understanding of financial consolidation intercompany reconciliation and elimination processes.

• Experience supporting month-end and year-end financial close activities.

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal integration and financial data flows.

• Experience with incident management problem management change requests and SLA-based AMS support.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM tools.

• Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) and financial reporting dashboards.

• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.

• Understanding of IFRS reporting requirements; familiarity with IFRS 18 is preferred.

• Experience working in global multi-entity consolidation environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Group Reporting.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

• Knowledge of IFRS 18 reporting standards.

• Experience with SAP ABAP for HANA or the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

• Exposure to SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).

• Experience supporting SAP upgrades patches testing and production releases.

• Strong documentation communication stakeholder management and analytical skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8-10 years of relevant SAP experience with substantial hands-on SAP Group Reporting experience.

• Strong functional knowledge of financial consolidation and reporting.

• Experience providing production support or AMS services.

• Hands-on experience with incident resolution change requests and root cause analysis.

• Experience supporting financial close intercompany reconciliation and elimination processes.

• Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and collaborate with global Finance and IT teams.
