Job Description
Title
Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Schedule
10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week; 0630-1700 hours.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- Current RN License in the state
- BLS Certification
- 2 years of experience in CVOR within a level 1 trauma center
- Strong scrub and circulating experience in cardiac surgeries

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgery.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Document care and maintain accurate patient records.
- Adhere to facility policies and protocols regarding patient safety and care.

Compliance / Notes
- Nicotine-free facility.
- Orientation occurs on Monday and Tuesday for new employees.
- Must be available for weekends and on-call as needed.
- Bi-weekly pay schedule.
