Technical Sales Representative

Saveway is a small but industry-leading company specializing in refractory monitoring applied to various types of molten metal processing. We’re looking for an energetic, driven Sales Professional who is excited to grow business, develop customer relationships, and represent innovative industrial technology. Technical knowledge can be taught-what we’re looking for is confidence, curiosity, and the drive to succeed. Responsibilities: As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for developing new business while supporting existing customers throughout North America. Develop new business opportunities within the steel, foundry, and metal casting industries. Grow and manage existing customer accounts. Travel throughout assigned territories (30–50% overnight travel). Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations. Prospect for new customers and generate qualified sales opportunities. Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up to close business. Partner with engineering and technical support teams to ensure successful installations and customer satisfaction. Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and grow your territory. Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity. Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products. We’re looking for someone who: Is confident, outgoing, and enjoys building strong customer relationships. Is self-motivated, driven, and eager to grow business within their territory. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enjoys solving customer challenges and presenting solutions. Is naturally curious and eager to learn new products and technologies. Can work independently while managing their own schedule and priorities. Is comfortable traveling throughout an assigned territory. Brings professionalism, integrity, and accountability to every customer interaction. Experience & Skills: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is required. 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience is preferred Mechanical or industrial experience is an asset but not required. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, strong sales skills, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency in Microsoft office. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to travel approximately 30–50%.
