Quality Systems Analyst

Position: Quality Analyst – Temecula, CA The Opportunity This role is based in Abbott’s Vascular Division in Temecula, CA. The Quality Analyst supports regulatory compliance activities, assists with audits, and contributes to continuous improvement in quality processes. Main Responsibilities Provide support to QA activities for regulatory compliance (e.g., Management Review support, regulatory audits). Represent the company professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Independently update audit data and metrics timely and in accordance with business standards. Serve as a technical expert in the use of Audit Tracking tools. Maintain, review, and update relevant documents and records to ensure compliance and accuracy. Apply systematic problem‑solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, communicate, and resolve quality issues. Collect process data from various parts of the company for analysis and reporting of quality metrics. Exercise authority and judgment within defined limits to determine appropriate actions. Support internal and external SharePoint sites. Assist in inspection readiness and external audits. Collaborate with Regulatory Compliance Management to identify process improvement initiatives. Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work to meet schedule. Build an internal network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks. Support divisional quality and compliance initiatives, goals, and metrics. Lead moderate‑scope project teams. Provide guidance to less experienced staff. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Experience / Training Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Master’s degree preferred). 2–5+ years of related work experience with a solid understanding of the specified functional area. Technical knowledge and application of quality system concepts, practices, and procedures. General understanding of business unit/group function. Experience in a quality system environment. Ability to analyze moderate‑scope problems and exercise judgment within defined procedures. Broad knowledge of technical alternatives and their impact on the systems environment.
