Volunteer Legal Support – Civil Small Claims Case (NYC-Based) 2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Location : Remote or NYC-Based | Start Date : ASAP Role Description Seeking a law student, legal intern, or recent graduate to assist in preparing an opposition for a small claims court motion to dismiss. The court date is scheduled for early May, and support is needed urgently to help organize and finalize materials already in progress. Responsibilities include: Reviewing legal filings and business documentation Assisting in the structuring and editing of the opposition Providing legal insight or guidance related to strategy (optional) No court appearance required Ideal Candidate: Interested in business law, contract disputes, or consumer protection Sharp, proactive, and detail-oriented Comfortable signing a basic NDA Available to begin immediately NYC-based is a plus, but remote applicants are welcome Compensation : This is a volunteer opportunity, with a bonus offered upon successful outcome of the case.
